Parking is a challenge in a densely populated area like ours. Our objective is to maximize the convenience of using a vehicle in our community. This document outlines a system that we have evolved to best serve our residents, owners, and visitors. One of our tenets is to use towing enforcement as a last resort. The objective is that no vehicles are towed. Through implementation of this system, we have reduced the number of vehicles towed each year from triple digits to single digits. We welcome your input to help us continue to improve this system.
Parking spaces are designated as Numbered (alphabetical character [A through G] followed by two digits) or Visitor. Each numbered spaced is assigned to a specific residential unit. The unit number is not used to designate a parking space for security reasons and flexibility in assignment.
Non-owner vehicles can only be parked in designated spaces (Numbered or Visitor) if they display one of two permits (Resident Decal or Visitor Hangtag). The license tags of owner vehicles are recorded on a “Do Not Tow” list (Registered Owner) allowing these vehicles to be parked in any visitor spot or numbered spot for the unit(s) they own. Only passenger vehicles displaying a current state-issued license plate and in operating condition (no missing wheels, flat tires, on jacks or blocks, or show any sign of abandonment) are permitted (e.g. boats, RV’s, commercial vehicles, campers, mobile homes and trailers are not allowed).

A Resident Decal must be properly displayed (permanently attached, face up) at the lower left (driver’s side) of the rear window of the vehicle. For convertible/hardtop vehicles the decal should be placed in the top corner of the passenger side of the front windshield. All vehicles must be registered on-line (Death Valley Towing). A maximum of three resident decals can be registered for each unit. There is a $25 annual fee for the decal which supports continuous improvement of the parking system. The parking decal is assigned to the vehicle that it was issued to and is NOT transferable to another vehicle. A Resident Decal is valid from the beginning of August through July 31 of the following year.
A Visitor Hangtag must be attached to the rear-view mirror and clearly visible from both the front and rear windows of the vehicle. No resident may park in a visitor space with or without a decal or a visitor hang tag. These spaces are for non-residents only.
The Visitor Hangtag can be purchased for $30 each year for the term August 1 through July 31. A lost hangtag can be replaced for a $15 fee and will be identified as a replacement. The previously issued hangtag is invalid and use of it is subject to a $250 fine and a towed vehicle. Submit requests for a visitor hangtag to park99wyatt@gmail.com.
Motorized Bikes may only be parked in front of your vehicle in a Numbered space. Alternate parking must be approved in advance. Send request for approval to park99wyatt@gmail.com.

More than one vehicle can be parked in a space with a red line at the back as long as no part of the rear vehicle extends beyond the red line. All vehicles parked in areas not designated above are subject to towing. This includes designated fire lanes. An owner or resident may request a vehicle parked in their assigned Numbered space to be towed. No parking or driving in landscaped areas. Violators are fined $100 plus the cost of any damage. Fees are subject to change.
Each unit is assigned two Numbered spaces. Additional Numbered Parking Spaces are leased to residents for a fee subject to the following conditions:
- Lease term is from August 1 through July 31 of the following year
- Only one leased space per unit
- Leased spaces will be offered initially to residents of the 100 through 500 buildings as long as a double-parking space is available to residents of the 600 and 700 buildings
- If more requests than leased spaces are received, a lottery will determine the recipients
